This is a wonderful jacket - you are bidding on the jacket ONLY here. This is/was an outfit. There were actually 2 outfits originally made, one small and one medium/large. When I rented these out not all pieces were returned so what I have now is the smaller top and skirt and the larger jacket. I am auctioning them separately BUT you could buy them both and either let the skirt out (plenty of fabric to do just that) and re-do the top using the matching plaid just in the front of a new blouse OR just take in the jacket. The jacket is made from a wool blend, herringbone in weave and teal/gray. The whole jacket is COMPLETELY lined in purple! The shawl collar is the same plaid as the shirt, a teal/gray and gold plaid. I fastens at the waist with 2 flat hooks and eyes. The sleeves are gathered for some fullness and have cuffs of the same plaid as the collar. Princess seams and fitted through the body, its longer in the front, shorter in back and has a peplum in back for fit and style. It does well on a curvy body : ) It fits up to a 42-44" bust, and a 34-36" waist. It was originally built for an actress who stood about 5'7". All in all a GREAT jacket for a Dickens or reenactment event. Please email me if you have any questions.
