This is a very good older ammo holder that my Uncle gave me and said it was taken off a German or Russian about 1943 in Belgiun.  Great collectable of WW2.  Good solid leather, no rot.  Well made.  I would say this is horse hide as its well perserved leather.   For its age the condition is close to excellent.   Please email me with any questions.
