This item has been in my cupboard for years. The box was opened and is torn, but the cartridge inside is completely sealed in and airtight package. Expiration appears to be 1/2001, Don't know if they last longer or not, but it's cheap, give it a shot! Box says it's for Epson Stylus Photo, Photo Ex and Photo 700 Part #S020110.
