M I Hummel Bavarian Village Collection - SMALL CHURCH

"Angels Duet" captures the charm and the beauty of the quaint country churches in M.I. Hummel's native Bavaria, with its snow-covered steeple, and two lumminous windows authentically reproducing a pair of original Hummel images.

Even today, in the small hamlets of rural Bavaria, the village church is found at the very center of town, with the shops and cottages having grown up around it. Usually the largest building, it is also the most important--the true heart and soul of village life.

The two Hummel portaits of child angels shown in the church windows, "Candle Lights" and "Angel Duet" combine the Sister's deep affection for children with her strong religious convictions.

Hawthorne Village was the FIRST-EVER to present the M I Hummel Bavarian Village collection featuring backlit images of M I Hummel figurines. This is "Angels Duet".  Each collectible village building in this collection features glowing windows or doors with colorful backlit images of M.I. Hummel figurines   All are hand painted in soft hues and each building includes a bulb and cord set. Buildings are numbered with matching Certificates of Authenticity.  "Angels Duet" stands about  7 1/2" tall. Shipping will be charged at a flat rate of $9.00 and will be sent by Priority Mail.
