LASKER'S How to Play Chess

TThis book - by Emanuel Lasker (one of the immortals of Chess) has produced what for all of the years has been regarded as the most instructive primer of the Royal Game.  It is an elementary text book for beginners, which teaches Chess by a new, easy and comprehensive method.

The book is old - not dated (except for note written on first inside page - 72") - the dust jacket is quite worn has some tearing along the edges especially the back - pages have some browning, but are all intact and easily read.  It comes from a smoke free home where there are no pets.
