                                                Applications of the RingMute

1) Some of today's trumpets, because of the metals used, metal thickness, bore size, mouthpiece, ect., can possess a very beautiful bright sound. The RingMute will assist in calming a bright trumpet "without sounding muted".

2) Trumpet players can basically be divided into two types:1. Bright sounding (Maynard-like) and 2.Dark sounding (M.Davis-like). With only a few exceptions a trumpeter will be one or the other.
