Movie description
In the late 1960s and early '70s, the Italian film industry began to parody the very genre it helped create with purposely campy spaghetti Westerns that exchanged dusty frontier melodrama for hilariously goofy slapstick. No man embodied this trend more than Italian actor Mario Girotti (aka Terence Hill), a blue-eyed pretty boy who frequently paired with countryman Carlo Pedersoli (aka Bud Spencer) for buddy comedies that deftly satirized spaghetti Western conventions. This collection presents a triple feature of classic Hill/Spencer collaborations: in THEY CALL ME TRINITY (1971), a lazy gunfighter known as Trinity (Hill) discovers that his shiftless brother Bambino (Spencer) has somehow become a town sheriff; in the sequel TRINITY IS STILL MY NAME (1971), Trinity and Bambino set out to fulfill the promise they made to their dying father to become successful bandits; and in the unrelated BOOT HILL (1969), Hill and Spencer battle an evil robber baron with the help of a traveling circus.
