This sterling cake basket was made  by George Henkle and Co. of New York,  It has a patent date  of may 12,1914.  I t hexagonal in shape with flaring sides.  It is topped by a rigid bow handle.  There is a monogram in script in the bottom of the basket .  The measurements are  6 inches in height and 8-1/2 inches wide.  The basket is in excellent condition free of any dents,scratches or repairs of any kind.
