It is elephant shaped and has a mirror in his trunk.  It has two bars that bend and go from corner to corner with rings that hang down for back time. You can interchange the toys that hang from the rings. It comes with 15 hanging rings to bring the toys closer or fourther away from baby.  It easily rolls up and has hooks to stay snapped shut for easy transport. It is a great mat and keeps baby very active. It is machine washable. it has been used at grandmoms house when she baby set but its in very good shape and may have been used under 20 times.
