The key to this speed is Rapid AF, an unrivaled new focusing technology from Konica Minolta. Rapid AF focuses on your subject in approx. 0.4 seconds at 10x optical zoom, and is even faster at wider angles. In terms of comfort during shooting, only 35mm film cameras come close. The superior speed and accuracy of Rapid AF comes from its innovative hybrid design, the combination of a passive sensor and video AF. Further accuracy is provided by the camera's wide 3-point focusing area.Even if your subject is far away, you can bring it in closer to fill the frame with Mega Zoom. This extra-wide 40x zoom range offers tremendous possibilities with shot composition. Mega Zoom is composed of two parts.
