This is a very old Silver Plate Master Salt. Its age and makers are unknown. It does have a hallmark on the bottom, it looks like a two handled urn and it is marked on one of its three feet " F.A. " This item came from an Estate where a lot of the older Silver items I have been selling originated. It measures 1 3/4" tall and has a diameter of 2 3/4". It has a very ornate leaf life pattern around the outside. It has 3 feet and each one appears to be a Lions or other big cats face. The upper outside rim is in a very ornate sculpted pattern. It has a Cobalt Blue Glass Bowl, that appears to be original and fits inside the salt, there are no chips or cracks on it. The inside of the salt does have a few spots of surface corrosion. This item weighs in at over 120 gms. A very old, ornate and beautiful salt for your table or to add to your collection. Shipped in protective material with lots of bubble wrap to protect it and ensure its safe arrival. I do add a small fee to cover protective shipping material costs. Please add me on your favorites.
