Authentic Cartier 18K Women's Watch Clasp / Deployant Buckle:

This item is in excellent condition and is an authentic optional accessory that was purchased at the Cartier Boutique in New York city by the original and sole owner for her Cartier watch.  

This design of this clasp (also known as a deployant buckle) dates back to 1910, is Swiss made (see photos) and is currently still being sold by Cartier at a retail price of $1,400. The clasp is made of a combination of 2 types of 18K gold: 18K Yellow Gold on the buckle (the part that remains visible after it's mounted on a leather strap) and 18k Rose Gold on the blade (the curved portion), which is typical of Cartie buckles/clasps as it offers greater elasticity and, as a result, a higher degree of comfort for the wearer. This accessory is also functional as well as stylish by enabling the user to place the watch on and off the wrist quickly and easily with one hand. 

About size, fitment and return policy:

This clasp/deployant buckle has an 18mm spread. It is the buyer's responsibility to confirm the proper fitment for their watch with their local retailer/jeweler before bidding. Seller cannot confirm fitments, nor will assume responsibility for improper fitment of a bidder's watch. Clasp is being sold "as is". Returns will not be accepted.

All the photos in this auction are of the actual item, with the exception of the last two photos which show a Cartier watch with same type of clasp already mounted on its band. These last two photos of the watch were included for illustration only. The watch is NOT included in this auction. This auction is only for the clasp / deployant buckle.
