This is for a USED, vintage, UNKNOWN BRAND, leather Field/HIP Gun Holster in a PLAIN BLACK finish.

This one looks pretty old by the style and materiels, I am guessing WWII vintage or earlier

 

This looks to be a EUROPEAN MADE, maybe an old police or military issue.  That said because a name HUSS is handwritten inside.  It is a  SINGLE FIXED LOOP design, although this one is loose enough to slide over the end. slip it over your pants without removing your belt, or it can be looped thru the slot of a "HOLLYWOOD" type gun belt.

Wet molded and hand blocked from top grain leather, it was made for the guns intended. (whatever there were).  The holster also features a fully slicked & coated seam with an odd wide trigger welt, attached with orange thread.

 

I have not seen this style before, so I don't quite know what it is.

WHAT IT FITS

The holster is unmarked as to maker and fit TRAIL & ERROR shows this fits   WALTHER P88 WALTHER P38   These may noty be the guns intended, but they work I have shown it with both replicas. Replica not included. Other similar framed autos may also fit, please check your application and make sure this is right for you. If you want a correct application vintage holster for your vintage gun, or just a good solid holster for your modern gun, this may be the one for you.

The holster is used, buthas no significant marks or scratches.  The finish has worn thin in spots, showing brown underneath.

  The loop MAY have been repaired, there is one rivet that looks to have bee replaced with a grommet.  On the other hand, they may have originally used a grommet for some sort of lanyard option.  The stitching is solid and thre is no damage.
