Set includes: Serial Communication Cable (5-ft.) Interfaces your computer's serial port to the the "PC" receptacle on the rear of the main body of Kenwood TM-D710 and TM-V71 transceivers, for programming and managing the radio's memory contents using MCP-2A software, available free on Kenwood's website. This cable, in conjunction with the Audio In-Out Cable (below), may also be used to enable Echolink Node Station operation.
