Wonderful signed and numbered flower bouquet watercolor print by Ellie Weakley measures 25 x 22 inches.
These "pencil signed" prints were left over inventory from the local frame shop that had to close its doors.
Their loss is your gain as you can get these gorgeous prints at a great discount to their true value!
All prints are in perfect framing condition with possible bent corners but would be hidden when framed.
Prints will be rolled in mailing tubes with tissue to save on shipping expense unless requested otherwise by buyer.

Watercolor and oil painter Ellie Weakley paints from life. Her art reflects everything she sees – a mountain stream, an aged building in France, a boat moored to a wharf, children at play in the flowers. A plein aire enthusiast, Ellie travels to capture in her paintings as many experiences as she is able. This means visiting beautiful and exotic places – ranging from the windswept coastal landscape of California to the ageless back streets of Europe to the jungles of Costa Rica – to bring back images of all she experienced. For Ellie, art is truly living.
With a degree in history and a successful teaching position, Ellie was not drawn to art as a career, but the idea sparked while chairing a major regional exhibition, the "Colorado Country Art Invitational". The flurry of artistic activities around her struck a deep chord and it wasn’t long before Ellie had her own paints and started her artistic pursuit. Over the years she has worked with a number of notable artists including Charles Reid, Lowell Ellsworth Smith and Richard Schmid. Gallery showing started in 1974 when Ellie was an invited guest of the Whiskey Painters of America show in Denver.
By the following year, Ellie had her own solo-show and has since exhibited throughout the Western United States, including Hawaii, receiving numerous awards along the way. Since 1993, Weakley has been a perennial participant in the prestigious Colorado Governor’s Art Exhibition and she is particularly proud of her artistic contributions to benefit the Children’s Hospital of Denver.
Ellie’s passion for her art and career has naturally affected the people around her. In fact, she turned to her own mother – a concert pianist – when she first felt the need to teach others about art. Ellie’s mother, Margaret Macrum, is now an accomplished, professional painter thanks to her daughter’s instruction. The artistic family genes spread further to include her two daughters, a niece and brother-in-law. The family exhibits together frequently in special group shows across the country.
With the following of an even wider family of both part-time and professional artists, Ellie has become a popular instructor. She has taught at Colorado’s Loveland Art Academy (where she also serves on the Board of Directors), the Art Students League of Denver, and Arizona’s Scottsdale Artist School. She also co-teaches well-attended workshops throughout the United States and Europe with artist Cathy Goodale. Both women combine the basics of all forms art with humor.
