This sale is for one used hardcover book A Picture History Of The World Olympics by James Coote.

  • This book is in very good condition, and rare. The pages clean, no yellowing, the binding and pages are tight and intact. the front and back hardcover is in excellent shape, as the dust jacket protected it. The dust jacket does have ware as can be seen from the photos. The bottom and top edges have some small tares and wrinkles, but the rest is in good shape.
  • The pages in this book are all black and white, except for about seven, which are in color. This  book is a First American Edition copyright 1972. The book was printed in Italy by Arnoldo Mondadori Editore Verona, the author is James Coote.
  • This book is a must have for any collector of Olympic memorabilia of the past. It is a chronological history of the Olympic games from its inception in Greece around 1370BC to the 1970's withs emphasis on the games from 1896, when they started again after a gap of 1503 years of not playing.
