3 ½” tall.


DESCRIPTION

Cross legged seated figure, probably a Jaina burial figure, with feathered headdress, large earrings, amulets on necklace, wristlets and anklets. About 20% red ochre paint remaining.







CONDITION
Overall excellent. Glue spot on the bottom where someone once stuck it to a shelf or board. One feather missing from right side of the headdress, and some roughage on the right hand (both visible in the images). A FINE AND RARE MAYAN ARTIFACT.
