DESCRIPTION

Image of a seated Buddha, supported by lotus-like leaves and an elephant dais. Small cartouches of Buddha in the upper corners. Gilded imagery. Buddha is seated in lotus position, holding a ceramic pot. Double matted. Painting is on paper or fabric adhered to a foam core backing.

Excellent. No fading. A BEAUTIFUL ORIGINAL BUDDHIST THANGKA.
