DICTIONARY OF BLUE AND WHITE PRINTED POTTERY 1780-1880, VOLUME II by A.W. Coysh and R.K. Henrywood, Antique Collector’s Club, 1982/1990 is a reprint of the award-winning dictionary, named the outstanding reference book of 1982 by the American Library Association.

This is volume two of what has become a two-volume compendium. This volume contains over 1000 new or extended entries which are supported by 420 black and white illustrations and 28 in color. “These cover many previously unrecorded patterns, recent attributions, newly discovered design sources, and a significant number of additional manufacturers and retailers. Some of the more interesting wares made after the original deadline of 1880 have also been included…..One new feature is an Appendix illustrating unidentified patterns, important marked examples of which may yet be unearthed by a diligent collector.” This is still a standard reference work on the subject, an essential core book for the reference library of the collector, dealer, or historian of antique blue and white pottery and porcelain.
