UP FOR AUCTION IS A REALLY NEAT PIECE OF FULPER POTTERY. IT IS CALLED A SHELL BOWL AND HAS THE UNIQUE FLOWER FROG MOLDED RIGHT INTO THE BOWL ITSELF.  THE HEIGHT IS 3 3/4 AND HAS AN 11 INCH DIAMETER.  IT IS SHAPE 508 FROM THEIR EARLY ADVERTISEMENTS.  THE COLORING IS TRULY BEAUTIFUL!  IT IS DONE IN OYSTER MATTE WITH CHINESE BLUE AND AND SHADES OF OLIVE GREEN AND A GREYISH TAN COLORING.  IT ALSO HAS, WHAT APPEARS TO BE BLUISH  STREAKING OR CRYSTALS THROUGHOUT THE PIECE.  ALSO HAS AN IVORY FLAMBE THROWN IN.  THE BOWL IS MARKED WITH THE EARLY RECTANGLE IN INK MARK.  THE BOWL HAS NO CHIPS OR CRACKS, BUT DOES HAVE SOME CRAZING ON THE INSIDE.  THE WHOLE PIECE HAS A GRAINING, ALMOST SANDY TOUCH TO IT.  REALLY A NICE ITEM. THIS BOWL IS OFFERED WITH NO RESERVE AND A VERY LOW STARTING BID.  THE ITEM WILL BE PACKED WITH BUBBLE WRAP AND STYROFOAM PEANUTS TO ENSURE A SAFE JOURNEY VIA OUR USPS PRIORITY MAIL SERVICE.  IT IS RATHER HEAVY(ABOUT 5 POUNDS)  AND WILL BE IN A LARGER BOX.
