 Incredible & Rare Henri Cros Pate De Verre Plaque in excellent condition with no damage of any kind.  Stunning French art glass piece has an amazing bas relief pink and white Dragon or Serpent with blue eye and blue ear on opaque background.  Renowned artist Cros was responsible for the revival of the lost ancient art of "Pate De Verre" in the late 1870's and he went on to teach the art to Argy-Rousseau who along with A. Walter took the art form to extremes with gorgeous designs in the early 1900's.  Beautiful 8 1/4" long, 4" wide plaque has the provenance of being from the collection of  Minna Rosenblatt who is well know for her "great eye" for glass and her galleries on Madison Avenue in Manhattan.  This stunning piece would grace the collection of the most discriminating collectors.  Check our feedback and bid with confidence.  Payment by Paypal to be received within 7 days, please.
