Thank-you for your interest.
What you are looking at is a 19th Century American Pine Bookcase/Display Cabinet... A beautiful piece that I purchased at a Christie's East auction in NYC in 1980.... it has remained a treasured family heirloom ever since. The circumstances of my life and current situation have me selling this and other treasured family pieces. It is American Pine, with two glass panel doors that open to reveal 5 shelves.
There is some damage to the bottom right corner of the case caused by my brother's puppy (see attached photos)... this does not affect the function of the piece, and could be easily repaired at reasonable cost... other than that, it is really in top form.
Dimensions of the entire piece: 40" wide x 70" high x 13.25" deep.
- Solid Construction
- All original detail
- Original brass key and keyhole
From a smoke-free and pet-free environment.
Moving would be at your expense, although we can recommend some very good, reasonably priced local movers.
