In a continuation of the collaboration they'd frequently returned to since beginning it in 1981, the jazz drummer Paul Motian, the guitarist Bill Frisell, and the saxophonist Joe Lovano made a welcome return to the recording studio in 2007. This freewheeling set includes several original compositions by Motian and one by Lovano, as well as tunes by Thelonious Monk, and Rodgers and Hammerstein.
