Car Seat Cover is filled with 2 layers of High Loft Quilt Batting then hand tacked to eliminate shifting during laundering.  Fabrics are pre-shrunk prior to construction. 

This is a REPLACEMENT cover.  Off with the old on with the new.  It does NOT go over existing cover.  I have washed my personal ones several times and they have NOT lost their shape and still stay on wonderfully.

Four sets of button hole style strap openings are overcast and re-inforced with Fray Chek for added stability.  Seat strap openings finished with bias tape. 

Outside edge is made with a nylon supplex for long wear and edged with a bias tape casing to protect the larger than standard 3/8 inch elastic.  Upper back belt pocket attached.

Machine wash in warm water on delicate cycle.  Tumble dry on low heat.  For maximum fluff put a clean tennis ball in the dryer with it.

~~~~A little about US!!~~~~~

This all started with our 2nd child needing big brothers carseat.  I really wanted a new cover and didn't want to spend $$$$.  So in comes my mother (aka Granny).  She has been sewing for more than 30 years.  And so I asked if she thought she could make a new cover.  And she did. 

In the course of all of this time money has gotten tight for everyone and we have our oldest in preschool.  He loves it but we were having trouble coming up with the $$$$ for it.  So along comes Granny making her creations and sharing them with you to pay for the preschool for the grandkids.  Too cool and very appreciated.

~~~~~Our little disclaimer~~~~~

Our Granny smokes.  She seems to think that since she has been doing this for over 40 years that she will keep on for the next 40 years.  And while we don't like it she doesn't do it around us. And she is very careful with the seat covers, she doesn't smoke while making them and wraps them up for our house as soon as she finishes one. So once she delivers them to our house I now wash them up and get them ready for you.
