Signed Marionette Hobby Craft Books 1, 2 and 4 GC! NR!

Up for auction are three of four Helen Fling books "Treasure Chest of MARIONETTE Hobby-Craft" published by Treasure Chest Publications in 1937. Each book is hand-signed inside with a fountain pen, Helen Fling Ackerman. These three books are in good condition with no missing pages. Interior pages and the covers are clean though do show signs of aging: edge tears and yellowing. The pages are not brittle in the least.  Book One "showing how you can make, mould, cast, paint puppet and marionette heads". Book Two "showing how to make marionette hands, feet, legs, arms and bodies". Book Four "production, stagecraft, direction and preparation Marionette Plays, also one complete play". Truly, and I know this from experience, these books are a goldmine of heavily illustrated information. The books are from the estate of Pady Blackwood.

Over the next months I will be selling many items owned by, about, associated with and created by Pady Blackwood, all of which were given to me by his estate.
