               THIS IS A HARD TO GET BAYONET THAT IS IN SCARCE SUPPLY !!!!!! DON'T ACCEPT REPRODUCTIONS

This auction is for one No 5 Jungle Carbine Bayonet complete with Scabbard & 1946 dated frog.This unit is marked with N79 code for Viners Ltd which is the hardest maker to find. The locking bolt and has an acceptance mark,it is in very good condition,. The blade is 19cm long and the overall length is 29cm, the grips are wooden & secured by two steel screws they are in very good condition for their age and conditions used in they have one minor blemish. These bayonets were made by WSC,Poole ,Elkington,Viners & Radcliffe in the  UK . Blade has an very good bright  finish. Scabbard has a black finish and is also in very good condition ,it is not marked .Frog is in very good condition and ha a date & makers mark. This Bayonet would enhance any collection. Feel free to ask any questions or pass on any comments. I will ship only to Australia, USA, Canada  and accept Paypal, Bank cheque,Money order or Direct deposit for Australian winner.....International winner is paypal only.....Winner will pay all shipping and handling costs

A: Thank you for the Q.The frog is the only thing that is dated. Only one maker of these dated the bayonet and that was Poole ROF.There were 316,122 made by the end of 1945.Barry
