ART DECO Brass BEVELED GLASS Picture Frame w PHOTOGRAPH

What a great piece of decorative history! This is a stunning piece, whether you display it with someone's mother you'd like to call your own, or with a photo of your own dear ancestor.

FRAME:
The exterior dimensions of the frame are 15-1/2" X 10" -- large! The border is 7/8" wide. The border is an inset of glass reverse-painted with creamy-white. It is enhanced with 4 brass leaf scrolls. Then there is the beautiful double-edge border. The design extends to the side edges of the frame. The completely-intact glass is curved, like a watch glass. The back easel is brown velvet. Produced by Midwest Studios in Portland, Oregon.

Condition: Excellent pre-owned antique condition -- 2 very tiny nips in the top of the glass. Slight flecking of the reverse painting in a few places. 

Age: Circa 1930s, by the style.
