Klon Centaur Boost/Overdrive Pedal. The One and Only!!!

Hello all you guitar aficionados and tone lovers!  Up for auction is a Klon Centaur Boost/Overdrive waiting to join you and your guitar rig in the near future!

For the uninitiated, this is considered by many to be the supreme guitar overdrive pedal available on the market today.  The Klon Centaur is hand crafted one at a time by the same individual (Bill Finnegan) who has been making them since the early ‘90’s and these babies have proven them selves to be irreplaceable elements of tone for many of the greatest guitarists in the world.

This particular example is a silver “Text Only” model that will be a welcome addition to any player, collector, or tone purist’s guitar rig.

Here are the details from the Klon Webpage:   “The Centaur was designed, over a period of four years, to be an overdrive that works with your guitar and amp, and with the particular sound they create, rather than one that imposes its own sound. It does a better job of retaining the original tonality and response of your setup than anything else I'm aware of; in the words of Trainwreck's Ken Fischer, a guy known to have pretty good ear, 'The Centaur seems to become part of your amplifier's tube circuits and doesn't feel or sound like you are using an outboard device.' What you end up with, when kicking the thing in, is simply a bigger, more focused rendition of the sound your guitar and amp were giving you to start with."

My feeling with this pedal as compared to a Profesionally modded TS-808 Tubescreamer, is that the Klon is a higher fidelity pedal, with more articulate tone, and a superior frequency spectrum(i.e. not such a midrange hump as with TS-808).  I am selling this pedal to raise money for an up coming tour.
