FINE QUALITY GERMAN MADE MANUAL PORTABLE TYPEWRITER FROM THE 50'S. EVERYTHING WORKS AND IT EVEN HAS THE KEY, BOOK, AND CLEANING KIT. THE PREVIOUS OWNER HAS REMOVED THE ENGRAVED ID FROM THE BOTTOM OF THE MACHINE WITH A GRINDER (SEE BOTTOM PHOTO) THIS DOES NOT AFFECT THE OPERATION OF THE MACHINE IN ANY WAY AND IS NOT VISABLE WITH THE MACHINE IN IT'S NORMAL POSITION. THE CARRYING CASE HAS SOME SEPARATION OF THE COVERING MATERIAL ON ONE SIDE AS SHOW IN THE PICTURES.  I HAVE REPLACED THE RIBBON AND IT TYPES GREAT.  MACHINE IS VERY CLEAN AND WAS USED LITTLE IT SEEMS.  ANY QUESTIONS PLEASE LET ME KNOW.
PS, THERE IS A SPRING MISSING FROM THE COVER THAT GOES OVER THE RIBBON MECH THAT HELPS TO HOLD THE TOP COVER DOWN, SHOULD BE AN EASY FIX WITH A NEW COMMON SPRING, IT SHOWS IN THE PHOTO OF THE COVER UPSIDE DOWN.  THE MACHINE WITH CASE WEIGHS 20 LBS.  PLEASE ADD AN ADDITIONAL 5 LBS FOR CARTON AND SHIPPING MATERIALS FOR A TOTAL OF 25 LBS SHIPPING WEIGHT.
