Brand new item in box!The  model sits perfectly on the included base, which is made of a high-quality, heavy conditioned wood.  Model is built from scratch by us and is not from any sort of model kit. To create the subtle details and definitions of the deck and hull, the plank on frame method of construction is used, which requires hours of pain-staking, detailed work.  The woods we use on this model are of the highest caliber and quality generally used for model boats.  We have put real fishing net on board. This model boat is a beautiful restic white-wash color hull with navy blue trimming and natural polished wood color inside.  The 100% cotton sail used on the model are high quality and hand stitched.  the wood is sanded during every layer to a glossy smoothness along with meticulous details that match the perfection of the real thing. Numerous layers of paint and varnish are painstakingly applied, with each layer dried and smoothed through sanding before application of the next.
