6 Full Custom Wooden Arrows

We build your arrows to order!

All traditional archers/hunters understand that no arrow material exceeds wood in the areas of performance and beauty!  When the weight, spine and fletching is matched appropriately to the bow, wooden arrows are capable of near-perfect flight and accuracy.  In my experience, the wooden arrow, fletched with three 5" shield feathers far exceeds any other setup. 

These arrows will be constructed of 11/32 Port Orford Cedar which offers the utmost in straightness and durability.  Arrows are available in the following spines: 45-50, 50-55, 55-60, 60-65, 65-70, 70-75.  Keep in mind, it is impossible to fully guarantee straightness and I would recommend that all traditional archers learn the art of hand straightening arrows and shafts.  I do guarantee that the arrows will leave my woodshop straight. 

The arrows will be classically nocked in your choice of color (red, orange, white, black, yellow or fluorescent green).  Arrows will be stained to your specifications with five staining options (natural, light brown, medium brown, dark brown and ebony).  If you would like a two-toned arrow, I am happy to do that as well with any combination of the stains.  (see pictures for an example of this option). 

Finally, you will choose whether or not to add cresting to your arrows.  Your cresting options include a hand-painted traditional pattern.  Cresting colors include red, orange, white, black, yellow, green, gold and blue, or a combination of the aforementioned colors.  Finally, the arrow is finished with 3 coats of a quality lacquer for lasting beauty and durability. 

We finish your arrows with three 5" shield feathers for the ultimate in traditional archery.  Feathers are available in all one color or with the cock feather of a second color.  We use Left-Wing feathers mounted in a helical style and for the ultimate in arrow performance.  Color options for feathers include:  Solid Colors:  White, Orange, Red, Purple, Black, Blue, Green, Yellow, and Autumn Brown;  Barred Colors:  Traditional, Autumn Brown. 

Arrows will be cut to your desired length and tapered for a point.  Arrows will be shipped full-length and uncut if unspecified. 

Handling time (not including shipping) will be up to 10 business days depending upon current stock.  I hope to be able to turn the arrows around a little quicker, however, to truly construct quality arrows, the finishing process should not be rushed.  Please note that the 10 business days begins once I get the details of your order, so contact me quickly after the end of the auction to give me the details of your order.
