Sunrise simulators help you wake up on dark winter mornings by slowly lighting a lamp. Don't be fooled by the low price!  This is a reliable, accurate, smooth operating unit that doesn't make a sound when it comes on. Programming this unit is as simple as plugging in into the wall. Sunrise will begin 8 hours later and every day after that, at the same time, with no further input from you (30 minute brightening cycle). An external timer may be used if you desire more control over the start time of your sunrises. The lamp must be an incandescent bulb, 100 watts maximum (60 watts recommended). Full spectrum bulbs are NOT necessary but will work. Fluorescent, compact fluorescent bulbs, or Tensor lamps will not work and may damage both the lamp and the Lighten Up! unit.
