28mm f2.8 M42 WIDE ANGLE LENS FITS PENTAX K, CANON EOS*

Offered for auction is a high quality Super Travenar f2.8 28mm automatic wide angle lens, this example is in excellent optical and cosmetic condition. The lens has a superb appearance with an imposing large diameter front element and is suitable for film and digital SLR cameras in manual mode.

*The lens has an M42 Pentax threaded mount, if required I can supply an adaptor (not included) enabling this lens to fit the full range of Canon EOS and Pentax K film and digital cameras – please see my other listings. Focussing will be manually operated and metering will be operational in Av, P and M modes - some exposure compensation may be required. With some Pentax K adapters infinity focus isn't quite achieved.

This item displays superb manufacturing quality with solid all alloy construction and excellent optical performance. With a focal length of 28mm this is an ideal lens for landscape and architectural photography.

The sale is complete with front and rear lens caps.

Condition: The front and rear lens elements are in unmarked bright clear condition and there are no signs of fungus or ghosting on the internal lens elements.

The focus ring has a lovely smooth action and the aperture ring is precise and positive. The aperture blades are clean and move smoothly without hindrance.

The lens barrel is in excellent condition, with just some light wear on the aperture ring.
