WHEEL HORSE/TORO LAWN GARDEN TRACTOR FRONT TOW HITCH

  This is an item that I made for myself awhile back to mount on my tractor to move trailers around my yard, depending on the time of the year, to make room. Most of the time there was little room to manuever the trailers around with a truck. People saw this unit at work and said you should make and sell these on E-Bay, so here we are.

  This unit snaps into the Tach-A-Matic on most all Wheel Horse/Toro tractors in 5 sec.. If you use yours to mow, you need to remove the mule and tie it up to the side and snap in the hitch. I use mine to tow and blow snow only.

  I have arthritis in my neck which limits me from turning around while  trying to back up a trailer. With the hitch in the front, you can watch what is going on and you have much more control with steering in the front. Much like driving a fork lift, you can manuever the trailer anywhere.

  These are made of heavy 1/4 & 3/8 steel with a 3/4 hole for the ball ( which is NOT included).Both front and back units are 14-16 inches off the ground, which is normal trailer height.  I try to keep a couple made up ahead so I can ship right away. They weigh 6 lbs. and you pay for actual shipping cost to your location.

  I also have a rear hitch assembly that bolts to your drawbar. Please see my other auction items. Again this unit does not come with a ball. Sorry for the big( not), just wanted to wake you up after reading all of this.

  Some early models, Prior 1973, will fit if equipped with the Tach-a- matic.

                  Compatible tractors include:

C-series (e.g. C-100,C-120, C-160, C-101,C-85, C-125, C-175, etc.) *

* Later (1980-1984) C-85,C-105,C-125,C-145,C-165,C-175 and C-195 with extended hood and black insert require a longer tongue. Please advise if yours is one of these.

B-series with horz. engine (e.g. B-60, B-80, and B-100 only)

300/400/500 series (e.g. 312, 412, 520, etc.)

Classic GT series (315-8 )
