Hi, I am selling my gateway laptop because I bought a new desktop. I decided to sell my laptop because i have no use for it. I did a system restore on the computer to clear out all of my personal files (& make it process faster), and now its says it is missing NTLDR

i don't know what this means and i do not have my gateway start up disk.***Before**

 the restore the computer worked fine. What I am Including with the computer:

1) Power Cord

2) Battery (works great holds a long charge

3) Perfect screen no scratches

4) Perfect keyboard

5) windows Xp (is in there somewhere....you may need restore disc or ?????)

6) Dvd Player and software

7) Wireless internet

 

DEFECTS!!!!

1) When you try to start it up it says it is missing ntldr (i don't know what this means, you may need a restore disk)

2) Worked fine before running the restore.

3) The left plastic cover for the hinge in broken and needs to be replaced

4) Original hard drive was replaced professionally (1 yr. ago) and has worked great!!!!

I think a computer person with knowledge of what this means or someone who knows where to get the start up disk would have a great computer, the computer is not very old and has some good programs and features, but needs to be recovered.
