One Pair Aurora No. 2551 T-Jet-to-AFX Adapter Tracks

This auction is for one pair of Aurora AFX No. 2551 9-inch straight adapter track sections. These adapters are used so that Aurora T-jet lock-and-joiner track can be used on the same layout as later Aurora AFX track.

These track sections are not perfect. Both have had repairs made to correct a broken tab and a broken tab-receiver on the AFX end of the sections (see pics). I make these repairs using epoxy and by adding supporting plastic. I cut away good tabs and receivers from other broken AFX track (usually from 9-inch radius curves because they are so common) and bond them to the sections being repaired to make them perform as new. This pair worked great for several years on my home layout.

The rails have just been polished, so these adapters are ready to go.
