A reserve price is the minimum price the seller will accept. This price is hidden from bidders. To win, a bidder must have the highest bid and have met or exceeded the reserve price.

Description & Condition:
NOTE: The ship cost for this item is not $1.00. eBay has no way for me to list this item based upon your preference of shipment. I had to enter some dollar amount to list this item. You may decide to pay the ship cost (expensive) to have the print shipped flat. Or you may decide to have just the print rolled and shipped in a bullet proof tube. There is just no way for me to figure your exact cost until you decide how you want it shipped. Further details below.

Condition of Print
This print has been stored for years inside of frame using archival materials.
I had this print being sold originally inside the frame without complete inspection of the print. I have sold a number of Davids work during the past few weeks. Everyone of them I had opened the frame and scrutinized the actual print.
The frame on this print is so beautiful I did not want to dismantle. However, every sale I have had lately, and after I researched the cost of shipping such a large piece of work with the frame - it became clear that shipping the art rolled or flat without the frame was the best option for my buyers.
Plus I really needed to inspect the print without the glass present and also the matt removed.
I am glad I did.
I found some things you need to be aware of before bidding on this item.
There are 2 soil spots as seen in the macro photo images on the left and right border edges that were hidden by the matt.
There are also 2 areas at the very top edge of the print where matt mounting tape residue is present. This was also covered by the matt and not visible until I dismantled the frame, glass, and matt.
I also noticed, running horizontally along parts of the train some very, very, faint hairline scratches. I took out my jewelers loop to inspect them at a macro level. They are present and some appear to have been on the paper prior to printing and some appear to have occurred after printing. It is just to difficult to tell as these scratches are so very fine and thin in nature. Please see above macro photos that I took.
From a distance they are not noticeable. I did not even see them when I photographed the print. It was only upon, very close scrutiny, after dismantling the print that I could see them.
There is also very, very, very, very mild fading. I noticed this when I dismantled the print. It is discernible around the areas of the description of the print at the bottom.
The colors are still vibrant and rich even though mild fading has occurred. This print was made in 1972. Over 37 years ago.
If you are interested in this piece you will need to let me know how you want this piece of art work shipped - either rolled in a bullet proof tube or shipped flat. Shipping flat is EXTREMELY expensive these days - so I can figure out your exact cost.
So DO NOT PAY YOUR INVOICE until I hear from you and can then give you an exact cost of shipment.
You will have to inform me of your desire. Please read below in the shipping area for further details.
I accept Pay Pal as my payment method as this recently has become mandatory due to revised eBay policy.
I expect payment within 7 days as defined by EBay policy. Granted, circumstances occurring in ones life require your immediate attention - a car accident, health issue, family crisis or what have you. I understand this. Just let me know that you are being challenged.
If I don’t hear from you, I wait the required 7 days and then file an unpaid item dispute stating that I have not heard from the buyer. I am VERY understanding and if you don’t want the item, can’t pay for it or whatever just let me know. Stuff happens in life. With that in mind I will just continue the dispute process by closing the item as “mutually agreed” and that will be it. I am not sure what EBay does on their end with your account standing on EBay, but from my end I will consider the matter closed. I will not and never have given negative or demeaning feedback unless a tremendous abuse has occurred. So far in my 6 years of selling on EBay that has never happened.
Once payment is received I post positive feedback. I also ask that once you receive your item and you are satisfied that you follow suit and provide the same. If you are not satisfied, contact me immediately, and we can work out the details of a return.
I primarily ship my items using the United States Postal service. I ship worldwide. I offer many shipping options for you within my listing. If you prefer UPS, FedEx - then let me know, if it is not visible within the shipping method section of my listing.
Fine art and other extremely valuable items are professionally packaged for shipment. I am open to the buyers request for how they would like these types of items prepared for packaging and shipment. Prints without frames I suggest be shipped flat, however you may desire a bullet proof mailing tube. You will need to let me know your preference. There are prints, however, that would be damaged if rolled and I will only ship these flat. There might be a few art pieces that have beautiful frames you would like shipped along with the print. Arrangements will have to be made to determine shipping costs if you would like the frame. In each listing it will be noted if the frame is available. I took pictures of most of the prints with frames. I then dismantled the frames to inspect each print to get further information which is disclosed in this listing.
PLEASE NOTE: For other items I recycle. I believe our Earth is in danger and I do my part to help keep her healthy and clean. So I ship in boxes I collect from my local hardware store and other locations. I wrap your item in loads of bubble wrap and/or newspaper that I also recycle. I purchase boxes and bubble wrap only when none is available during my collections. When your package arrives it may not look perfect or pretty, but I can assure you it will arrive safely and in perfect condition.
I HIGHLY suggest you, as a buyer, become aware of the various shipping methods offered by the USPS and the length of time each service takes for an item to arrive at your doorstep. You may visit the USPS or UPS website to learn more about this. I sell many items that are media related and offer that shipping option within my listings – but PLEASE NOTE – though shipping Media Mail is the cheapest, it is also the slowest. It takes longer to reach you.
I include a .80 charge (that the US Post Office charges me) within my EBay shipping and handling fees to pay for shipping and receiving confirmation on all items I send. I DO NOT gouge my customers with excessive shipping fees. I DO NOT make money off of you by charging high shipping costs. I include a minimal handling fee to cover my costs for the time and expense it takes to wrap, package, label and ship your item to you.
When I receive notification from Pay Pal that payment has been received I follow to the letter what you, the buyer, have chosen as your shipping method and the instructions you have provided. I also ship to the address that you, the buyer, have supplied to Pay Pal. So please make sure your shipping address is current within your Pay Pal account. Any questions or problems please contact me.
