This color textbook is a great resource used by many animal science students, veterinary students, veterinarians, and those that work in the equine and food animal fields.  The illustrations are well organized, easy to follow and show various parts and organs in situ within the animal.  The information within the book is provided in 7 sections each representing a different species: Horse, Ox, Sheep, Goat, Llama and Alpaca, Swine, and Chicken.  Each animal section contains several pages of illustrations organized by organ systems such as skeletal, muscular, lymphatics, cardiovascular, gastrointestinal, and many more.  This book was very useful as a quick table-side reference in our Large Animal Anatomy lab course.  There are less than 10 pages with little highlighting, and none of the pages are marked with pen.  The right bottom and top corners are slightly curled, and the binding is strong.
