Mono is also melted and mushroomed to prevent crimps from slipping. This forms an extremely strong and compact connection. You don't have to worry about these rigs coming apart like cheap store-bought junk!! No weedeater line or galvanized cable here!! I only use top quality FISHING materials. Weedeater line stretches and can pull through crimps or break at the connection point. Galvanized cable rusts very quickly in saltwater.
