I use this same type of light in my own Photography business at weddings and parties.  It has 3 settings (HIGH, LOW,MEDIUM) plus a flashing light that looks really good when people are dancing. I include 4 batteries  and all lights are checked on the day of shipping to make sure they work.

When I first started to use them I thought that there was no way a light of this size would do the job, but any bigger and you will wash out your subject and will have ruined shot.

The trick to light is to only illuminate what you need to see not everything that can be seen.

Your shots will look very custom when you only have your subject lite and not the whole rooms.

The LCD's are rated at 100,000 hour so I am pretty sure it will outlast all of us.
