Mare Nostrum is a typical Mediterranean trawler and was built at Arenys de Mar, near Barcelona, Spain. Her name simply means "Our Sea" and she's been the pride of the Mediterranean since the birth of the Diesel engine.

The Mare Nostrum was built to fish the rich waters of the Mediteranean. Powered with a 40 HP diesel engine she also was equipped with an ice box to keep her catch fresh unitl she reached port.

This Fishing Boat model trawler is built from the hull up by experienced master craftsman, not from kits. This model is shipped fully assembled however you must stand the mask. It can easily be done in 2 minutes or less. This historic model ship comes with a high quality, conditioned wood base.
