This hardback book was published in Canada in 2009 by McClelland & Stewart. The Canadian Edition is the TRUE FIRST EDITION and this is also the FIRST PRINTING by number line.

Both book and jacket are in UNREAD AS NEW condition. Any defects are always noted in my descriptions.

Shipping costs include a Brodart cover.  Insurance is NOT included unless so specified - it is the Buyer's sole responsibility to pay for insurance and its purchase is highly recommended. 

FLATSIGNED by the author on the Title page. Alice recently signed this book near her home in Ontario and will not have a book tour - as such the book is scarce. It is also very likely to be the last book Ms. Munro writes. Alice has again been shortlisted for the Canadian Governor General's Gold Medal for 2009 and has already won the 2009 Booker Prize for Fiction. She is one of our national treasures - and has been referred to as Canada's Chekov.
