RELY TAPNIO is a self-taught artist. Through his experience for several years he has come to reach the summit of his own style in painting. He uses mostly acrylic paints and some of his artworks have layered glazing on textured canvas to complete an extra ordinary finish that is commonly mistaken for oils. He combines the use of texture, color and varying materials to form fine-looking art that he has been experimenting with since childhood.

His favorite subjects are mostly animals - from underwater marine life to flora and fauna of the virgin rainforest, exotic birds, butterflies and animals in the wildnerness. Rely believe that the work of every artist is an evolution in progress; he have painted abstract and human portraiture figure for a long time. His previous works are mostly in radical forms and colors. His current works were more playful, whimsical, and often pulled from his imagination while still developing subjects that are more subtle and more mature. Part of this change came from studying other subject such as landscape and nude paintings. For him, developing more style and technique is a never ending journey for a passionate artist who puts all of his emotions into each piece of art .All his paintings are protected by several coats of water base acrylic emulsions giving exceptional protection against dust, sunlight, ageing & scratches that helps and enhances the depth & color of his works, maintaining the original quality for many years.

Rely's works are held in many private and corporate collections. He is even featured in a local newspaper for painting an outstanding work of art, featuring his famous collected flora and fauna works. He also participated in many arts shows like The Philippines Art Exhibition for a Great Cause, featuring 30 Filipino emerging artists and other group exhibits.

All listed items are shipped and located from the PHILIPPINES. Dispatching takes 1-3 working days after payment has been received. We do not shipped during SATURDAY after 12 NN, SUNDAY and PUBLIC HOLIDAYS (PHILIPPINE TIME).

We strongly express that our default shipment cost under SHIPPING AND HANDLING for ROLLED CANVAS or STRETCHED CANVAS includes actual SHIPPING CHARGES such as transportation, TFS and VAT plus a reasonable PACKAGING and HANDLING FEE to cover our material costs. While insurance is inclusive if the item is bought below 100 USD. However, additional insurance may or may not be required - OPTIONAL if item is bought above 100 USD.

In addition to this, actual weight for one LARGE FORMAT size like 32x32 inches of ROLLED CANVAS including the weight of the sturdy tube is about less or exact 1 kilo or in some cases, exceeds one kilo, especially for highly textured canvas. As for STRETCHED CANVAS, calculation of shipping charges is normally based from UPS volumetric weight - LxWxH/5000 rather than to its actual weight. We personally do not suggest POSTAL mailing service because of our previous bad experience.

All stretched and rolled works are packed securely and professionally, wrapped in a bubble sheet for maximum protection to avoid possible damage during the delivery period. We use high quality oils and acrylics on 100% cotton canvas, secured double wall corrugated carton box or sturdy tube. This will be delivered by UPS PHILIPPINES using 3-5 days WORLDWIDE EXPRESS DELIVERY SERVICE - a tracking number is provided once shipping arrangement has been made.

STRETCHED CANVAS Shipping and Handling Fee is not listed on this page. You can CONTACT US if you want to know the SH charges as sizes of the painting and thickness varies. We offer 1", 1.5" and 2" thickness stretched canvas.
