Frame Description:  
This is a new wood picture frame made to accommodate artwork that is 30" x 40" (please note -- the full frame photo is an identical 8" x 10" example).  The moulding from which this frame is made is approximately 5" wide on its face and 2 1/4" thick.  It is a classic profile that is thickest on the outsde and scoops downward toward the opening with of ornamentation along the exterior and interior edges.  This frame is gilded with gold metal leaf and finished with a dark mottled antique which yields a distressed golden / bronze appearance.  This frame is perfect for an oil painting or portrait and can also hold a print with glass.  It would also be beautiful with a mirror which can be provided for an very reasonable additional charge.
