The security feature of the ThugLoc system is in the placement of labels in hidden locations that a thief would not be aware of. An area that would require a close examination to locate it is preferable. Some good locations would be where a mirror would be needed to actually see the location of the label. There are areas on the frame of vehicles that would make the label difficult to detect. It is advisable to carefully look over your vehicle and decide on label placement before beginning application process. You will need to decide on the locations where the label will be difficult to detect on your specific vehicle. We would advise against locating labels in wheel wells(above tire) or on engines due to heat the engine generates. A good placement system could include two body parts, top of frame rail, interior (under floor mat on floor pan) and one hidden location viewable only by a hand held mirror.
