POGO Diorama 6 characters & 1st ed. book Walt Kelly

Hello folks! Here for your consideration is this unique, one-of-a-kind diorama featuring the original 6 1969 Pogo figurines and a 1^st Edition Pogo book. They are all housed in a beautiful old wooden box with dried moss and plants. This is ultimate gift for any Pogo lover! It would make an excellent display piece.

This auction includes:

·        Set of 6 Pogo characters (1969) including: Pogo Possum, Albert Alligator, Beauregard Hound, Churchy La Femme, Howland Owl, & Porky Pine

·        1 Pogo cartoon book by Walt Kelly, this is the first one of the series & a  1^st Edition 1951 copy

·        1 Newspaper clipping with a picture of Walt Kelly and a cartoon

·        1 Very unique wooden box with dried moss and plants (to simulate a swamp)

Condition:

All of the figurines are nice condition. There is very little paint loss or wear. Porky Pine does have some pint loss on his hat and staff. All the figurines were glued to the box with Elmer’s glue. The glue on Porky Pine has come loose however. It would not be too difficult to remove the characters and get the water soluble glue of if you wish.

The Pogo book by Walt Kelly is in great condition. There are no folds or creases. There is slight wear to the spine. The book was held in place within the box with clips which I will remove before shipping.

The wooden box has a beautiful aged patina to it. The dried moss and plants are lightly glued on with Elmer’s. They may come loose during shipping however but I will pack it well.

Return Policy:

The buyer has 14 days to return the item (the buyer pays shipping fees).

Shipping:

I will ship your item within 1 business days after receiving your payment. I reuse and recycle shipping materials to save on costs.  

I offer two shipping methods: (1) USPS Parcel Post and (2) USPS Priority Mail. The buyer will only pay actual shipping costs (no surcharge).
