 2008 we released the Shoot Off  using a new searing mechanism and two piece handle designed to provide the ultimate in release aid functionality and reliability.  The robust and crisp searing mechanism was so popular that we built the new Shootoff! around the very same searing mechanism.  Both release aids use STAN's proprietary ErgoFit Technology to facilitate cross training between the backtension and trigger release aids.   Like the SX2, the Shootoff! that is adjustable for projection, tilt, and thumb angle. Both release aids are built around an internal mechanism that is pure genius... lightning fast and crisp as a fall morning.  Heat treated 440 internal sear components are hardened to a wear proof 62 Rockwell and are infinitely adjustable for trigger tension and travel WITHOUT changing springs!
