Sid and Marty Krofft, the endlessly creative puppeteers behind oddball 1970s kids' shows like H. R. PUFNSTUF and LAND OF THE LOST, created SIGMUND AND THE SEA MONSTERS in 1973. Its hero is Sigmund Ooze (Billy Barty), a sweet little sea monster who's an outcast from his family because he refuses to scare anybody. Fortunately, he's taken in by two brothers named Johnny and Scott (Johnny Whitaker and Scott Kolden), who keep his mean relatives from kidnapping him, while making sure no one finds his secret home in their backyard clubhouse. All 17 episodes from the first season of this classic show are collected here.
