Booklet on What to Eat if you have Diabetes

Drugs can stop a runny nose but they cannot instantly cure the cold causing the runny nose. Also if I cut myself there is no cream or medicine I can take to mend the cut. The Body mends itself and if the body is young and healthy then the mend is very fast indeed. When a person is a Diabetic the body is slow to heal itself. Drugs have been used to force the body to accept sugar and also to stimulate the pancreas to produce more insulin.

My Diet is simple in that you only require FOOD and my concentration is on reducing INSULIN so I certainly don't want a drug to stimulate the pancreas to produce more insulin.

You can take vitamin and mineral supplements if you like but I have found that Food is more natural and we do need the body to not forget how to take vitamins and minerals from the foods we eat.

 When you are presented with an example menu please realize that it is important to know what our body takes from the food when it is fully digested. If you cannot eat pork you should substitute a food with similar ratio of Fat,Protein and Carbohydrate. You can use the internet to obtain the contents of certain foods. It is wise to know what you are eating.

You can make up many dishes very quickly even without weighing once you understand what is required.

Please NOTE that what I have for you are brief Notes Not a Book which explain very simply what you need to eat. I do recommend Books I have read that have assisted  me to arrive at the Diabetic knowledge I have today. Please don't Bid if you feel that brief Notes cannot provide you the answer to becoming less Diabetic. My Brief Notes will not cure your Diabetes - they are meant to help you become a happy Diabetic.
