You will need gear grease which is required during installation. White lithium grease is best; it doesn’t solidify in the winter cold or melt in the summer heat. A small tube (1oz or 1.5 oz) is enough to cover the gear. Check our other listings, we always have the perfect size tubes of Permatex brand White Lithium Grease and it’s a lot cheaper than the big box stores.
